ComputeUK offer clients a secure means of disposal for their redundant Computer equipment, with the WEEE Directive in force there are stringent regulations for the disposal of Waste and Electrical and Electronic Equipment. The aim of this directive is to minimise the impacts of electrical and electronic equipment on the environment.

For household customers the Services we offer conform with current regulations. Household users are welcome to bring any redundant PC equipment to us for recycling during our Opening Hours.

Household Collections are available throughout the whole of England and most of Scotland. To arrange a collection click on Household Collection Form and complete the online collection form.

With ComputeUK you can be reassured on Data Security, all data will be secure from retrieval, and will be completely removed from all storage devices.

By offering a recycling service we consider it part of our undertaking to assist clients reduce their electronic and electrical equipment waste stream. We also like to encourage and promote the reuse of computer equipment. Our policy ensures that everything we process is dealt with environmentally. No harmful components are sent to landfill, and no harmful waste is sent overseas for disposal.

 

When the 'Crossed out Wheelie Bin Symbol' is marked on a product or packaging, it means that the product should not be disposed of with your general household waste. Only discard electrical/electronic items in separate collection schemes, which cater for the recovery and recycling of materials contained within. Your co-operation is vital to ensure the success of these schemes and for the protection of the environment.
